Sallie Bell Hill Yates, 91, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the High Point Regional
Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2 p.m. in J.C.
Green & Sons Chapel with Rev. Mike Orman officiating. Burial will
follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive
friends at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 8
p.m.
Born August 7, 1921 in Davidson County, a daughter of
the late Hosey Presley Hill and May Hunt Hill. Mrs. She was married to Leon Nathaniel Yates who
preceded her in death July 1, 2011.
Surviving are a son, Tony Leon Yates of Portsmouth, Virginia;
grandchildren, Bryan Nathan Yates and wife Tammi of Portsmouth, Virginia
and Lorrie Lee Spivey and husband Bradley of Thomasville; and Seven
Great-Grandchildren.
