Faith Routh Scism, 75 of Archdale pass Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home. Funeral services for
Mrs. Scism will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Mt. Gilead United
Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Following the interment the family will greet friends in the church. Born
April 10, 1938 in Randolph County she is a daughter of the late Kernie
Routh and Bertie Hill Routh. In addition to her
parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Scism on August
13, 2004 and a sister Christine R. Jordan and a brother Gene Routh. Survived by one son David K. Scism and wife Ronda of
Thomasville and a grandson Phillip Keith Scism of Thomasville. She is
also survived by her siblings Anne Harrell, Carl E. Routh, Shirley R.
Holder, Curtis Routh and wife Jean and Sue R. Stroud and two
sisters-in-law Linda Sink and Becky Kearns.
Direct line to Briles, twice: First grandmother is Bertha Roanna Briles. Paternal line goes through Shadrach & Margaret Briles Kindley
