Three Issues Solved

The Briles Information Network has solved one issue involving Thomas E. Briles who passed in 2007 in California. Thomas is the son of the late Edmund John and Ruth Briles. This issue was solved using the 1920 census (Chester Harrison Briles). Based on the dates and the SSI Index, we feel confident with this assignment.

The other issues involve Lucy Milder Briles and her daughter Betty Briles Sheckell. Sam Broyles has the information on his web site and again we feel confident with this assignment. The problem was Lucy's death notice had her listed as Lucy Milder Briles. Her correct name is Lucy Mildred Briles and was married to her second cousin, once removed, Charles Edward Briles. Lucy's daughter, Betty passed in 2007 as did Lucy.

This brings our "Current Issues" list to 15. The BIN is currrently working to solve these issues. Please visit our Message Board for this list and if you have any information regarding them, please contact us.

"On the Lighter Side"

Talk about bad luck! Not only did the organist leave, but she took the organ with her! It appears the church is in need of details too so if you have either of the three, feel free to give Fairgrove Church a buzz at 475:2598???
