Betty Jean Skeen Hepler, 87, of Thomasville, and formerly of Kennedy Rd. died Friday, October 14, 2016 at Thomasville Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Dr. E. Keith Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Born on June 7, 1929 in Randolph County, NC to Cicero Skeen and Della Kinley Skeen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Reid Hepler on March 8, 2011; and her son, Tony Reid Hepler on October 18, 2008. Surviving are her son, Terry Wayne Hepler of Thomasville; and a sister, Ellen Hepler of Thomasville.
