Nellie Briles Johnson Dies in Trinity

Nellie Briles Johnson, 81, of Trinity, died on November 28, 2014 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Chaplain Craig Walker officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cumby’s in Archdale. Burial will be at Floral Garden Memorial Park. Born in Guilford County on November 19, 1933 to the late Thomas and Lela Wall Briles. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Johnson; her sister, Mary Lou Ingram; and her son in law, Tim Bentley. Surviving are children, Tommy Adams and wife Anita of Kernersville, Robin Bentley of Archdale, Kandy Foley and husband Terry of Archdale, and Benita Johnson of Trinity; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
