Mary Magdalene Hulin Small Dies

ASHEBORO-Mary Magdalene Small, 85, passed Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Woodland Hills Nursing Center in Asheboro. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Pierce Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Born on Aug. 8, 1924, in Randolph County to Johnnie Hulin and Lily Allred Hulin. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Lespy Small; sister, Ellen Flannery; and brothers, Lee and Hodge Hulin. Survived by sons, Roy Small and wife, Debbie, of Trinity, Henry Wade Small and wife, Donna, of Lexington, Ronald Dale Small and wife, Barbara, of Trinity; daughters, Peggy Bean and husband, Clinard, of Denton and Janice Hoover of Asheboro; brothers, Jay Hulin and wife, Bobby, Glen Hulin, both of Denton; sister, Betty Swaney and husband, J.B., of Trinity; grandchildren, Anita Dunn and husband Terry, of Denton, Tamera Watkins and husband, Jeff, of Randleman, Michelle Small of Asheboro, Kendra Jordan and husband, Rodney, of Asheboro, Bobby Small and wife, Jeanna, of Denton, Rhonda Small of Trinity, Matthew Cox of Trinity, Vickie Miller, Belinda Miller, Kenneth Miller and Chastity Winesett, all of Lexington, Brian Trivette Faith, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Jodie Burns, Anna Burns of Denton, Brennan Turner of Randleman and Anez Small of Denton
