Annie Mae Crotts Goins Dies

MT. AIRY-Annie Mae Crotts Goins, 72, passedWednesday May 27, 2009 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday May 30, 2009 at Blackwater Community Church; Brother Ted Crotts, Brother Frank Danley and Brother Timmy Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Carroll County, Virginia on March 26, 1937 to the late Jonah and Patty Alice Rakes Crotts. Preceded in death by her husband Nathan "Pete" Goins; two sons, Ray and Ronnie Tate; a brother and three sisters. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Richard Caudill of Elkin and Debbie and Joe Howlett of Dobson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Cheryl Tate of Elkin and Mike and Judy Tate of Mount Airy; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Frank Danley of Ararat; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Alex and Wanda Crotts, Jackie and June Crotts and Rev. Ted and Ann Crotts all of Mount Airy.-Moody
