Family will receive friends from 12 noon-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Britt and the Rev. Mark Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Native of Guilford County, born Oct. 6, 1930. He was the son of the late Daniel Archie Clark and Ina Sirona Pierce Clark; preceded in death by sisters, DeEtte Clanton and Doris Jarrell. Survived by his wife, Janice Burrow Clark, of the home; sisters, Iris “Bo-D” Morgan and husband, Jennings, Kay C. Outen, all of Asheboro; brothers, Kenneth “Kessie” Clark and wife, Pat, Ronnie Clark, all of Asheboro; special relative, Belinda Alcon Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews. Blanche Parrish Bray, age 86 formerly of Bescher Chapel Road, Trinity, NC passed today, Monday, November 26 at Carillon Assisted Living in Asheboro.cA graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday at Pierce’s Chapel Primitive Baptist church Cemetery with Mr. Mac Summey, Jr. officiating. The family will see friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Born June 13, 1926 in Randolph County to Onslow Parrish and Velora Wood Parrish; preceded her in death by her husband Robert Bray. Survived by a son, Bobby Joe Bray and wife Gail of Denton; daughter Wanda Bray Wall and husband Walter of Winston-Salem; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Amos Mashburn officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 pmBorn on August 19, 1923 in Davidson County to Ernest LaFayette Pierce and Lilly Jackson Pierce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Davis Pierce on September 15, 2006, whom he married July 17, 1944; son, Gary Dean Pierce; sisters, Glena Taylor and Eva Hill; and brothers, Everett, Warren, and Ralph Pierce. She was married to Austin R. Pierce, who preceded her in death. Surviving are sisters, Corine Lamb and Rosa Parrish, both of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews.

Native of Randolph County, NC, born November 30, 1928; daughter of the late Robert Loranza Pierce and Leonia Kindley Pierce; preceded in death by her husband, Otis Hunt, her son, Stephen Hunt, and her sister, Annie Louise Cockerham. Survived by her daughter, Vickie Hunt, of the home, and her sister, Carolyn Hanner, of Asheboro, NC.

He is survived by two daughters: Vickie Pierce House and her husband, Don of Pleasant Garden, Rita Pierce Kinley and her husband, Terry of Asheboro, two sons: Larry Pierce and his wife, Sara of Swansea, S.C. and Danny Pierce of Sophia, NC; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one brother: Paul Pierce of Ironton, Ohio.
