Born on April 15 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Darlene and Herbert Hadel. married to Dr. Thomas "Tom" Briles, married November 24th, 2015. US veteran, U.S. Army Reserves Medical Department Regiment.

Joyce Snider Young

Joyce Snider Young, 91, of Lexington, passed away October 17, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, at Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ, where she was a member, with Pastor Josh Rau and Rev. William Sowers officiating the service, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall.

Joyce was born April 27, 1932, in Randolph County, to David Harrison Snider and Algene Robbins Snider. Joyce. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Joe Bill Young who died June 13, 2023, a son, Bob Young, brother, David Snider.

Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Younts and husband Doug, of Lexington, Son, Mark Young and wife Donna of Danville VA. Also surviving are her two grandchildren, Megan Younts and Jacob Younts and wife Katelyn, both of Lexington: her sisters, Reva Young of Lexington, and Teresa Smith of Trinity.

Donald Ray Albertson

onald Ray Albertson, 81 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

A celebration of Don's life will be Friday, October 13th at 2pm at Sechrest-Davis Chapel in High Point. Visitation will be Friday from 1-2pm. Burial will follow in Floral Gardens Park Cemetery.

Don was born in Trinity, March 3rd 1942, a son of the late Robert Glenn Albertson and Dorothy Robbins Albertson. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Hassell Albertson; two sisters, Lucille Ridge and Josephine Philbeck and one brother, Robert Albertson Jr.

Surviving is his daughter Donna Albertson and four sisters; Ann Hobson, Georgia Kinney (Garland), Shirley Probert and Frances White; two brothers, Frank Albertson (Jackie) and Bill Albertson (Kay); numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Albertson's great grandmother was Elizabeth Rebecca Briles Robbins
