Family will receive friends from 12 noon-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Britt and the Rev. Mark Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Native of Guilford County, born Oct. 6, 1930. He was the son of the late Daniel Archie Clark and Ina Sirona Pierce Clark; preceded in death by sisters, DeEtte Clanton and Doris Jarrell. Survived by his wife, Janice Burrow Clark, of the home; sisters, Iris “Bo-D” Morgan and husband, Jennings, Kay C. Outen, all of Asheboro; brothers, Kenneth “Kessie” Clark and wife, Pat, Ronnie Clark, all of Asheboro; special relative, Belinda Alcon Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews. Winfred O'Neil Hunt, Jr., age 68, of Asheboro died Friday, November 23, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. George Allen Robbins, 56, of Sophia died October 15, 2012, at his home. A graveside service will be held 2 PM, Thursday, October 18th at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery in High Point, with Rev. Interment will follow in the meeting house cemetery. Born on February 14, 1959, in Randolph County, NC, to Wayne Loflin and the late Louise Webster Loflin. Survived by her husband, Mark Morgan, whom she married on April 26, 1997; her children, Madelyn Luise Morgan and Wyatt Roger Morgan; her father, Wayne Loflin; her sister, Linda Loflin Thuotte and husband, Roger; her brother, Clifford Loflin and wife, Patsy. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Laura T. Bibb and husband, Ben, Daniel W. Loflin, Rachel L. Maguire and husband, Chris, Greg M. Native of Randolph County, NC, born May 8, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Lee Gordon and Lillie Mae Hicks Gordon. He was married to Faye Varner Pierce who died July 13, 1998 and was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Pierce on June 27, 1998. Survived by a daughter Donna Barringer and husband Ricky of Denton and a daughter-in-law, Amy Pierce of Lexington; brothers Dolan Pierce of Thomasville, and Charles Pierce of Lexington; sisters Jewel Watford and Louise Elberson both of Thomasville, Pauline Gordon and Mary Hughes both of Farmer; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
