Winfred Charles Kinley
A visitation will be held on December 20, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Church in Lexington, North Carolina, starting at 10:30 AM, with the funeral service following at 12:00 PM with Rev. Darrell Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Following the service the family will receive guest at Mr. Kinley's residence on Chapel Wood Rd. in Denton.
Born on February 7, 1954, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Joseph "Joe" Roosevelt Kinley and late Iva Ruth Summey Kinley. He was preceded in death by his brothers Stephen, Harold, Don, and James Kinley, as well as his sister Ruth Ann Kinney.
Surviving are his daughter, Julia Kinley Dail; his sons, Jeremiah Charles Kinley and his wife Candi, and Jacob Raymond Kinley; grandchildren,Molly Dail, Charles "Charlie" Dail, Eli Kinley, and Eliot Kinley.
Winfred is also survived by his brother, Larry Kinley and his wife Barbara; his sisters, Helen Shelly and Rebecca "Becky" Lanier and her husband Jeff.

Surviving is her son, William Lane Norris and wife Wendy of Thomasville; her daughter, Kelly Susan Norris of Thomasville; and two grandchildren, Claire Norris Prevatte and husband Ayden and Blake Holder Norris, all of Thomasville.

Dolores Long Briles, age 91, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, surrounded by her family at home in Bainbridge, Georgia.
A private, family service will be held at the Tallahassee National Cemetery, Tallahassee, Florida.
Dolores Long was born June 22, 1934, in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late Clarence Bernard Long and Willie Irene Robertson Long. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larence Dee 'Larry" Briles Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Briles, and brother, Michael Long.
Dolores is survived by her daughters, Julie Hawkins (Bill) of Mount Vernon, Ohio and Amy Briles of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Michael Grosh and Danielle Wilkinson (Michael); great-grandsons, Freddy and Ethan Wilkinson; sister-in-law, Beverly Parks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arthur Dale Loflin, 68, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away on November 23, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Arthur was preceded in death by his father Arthur Loflin, brother Rickie Loflin and sister Teresa Haithcox.

Born on January 14, 1946 to the late Fred and Melba Briles.
Surviving: his children, Carol (Jeff) Abercrombie, and Bradley (Angie) Briles. He was known as “Pops” to Blake Briles, currently serving in the USMC stationed in Twentynine Palms, CA; Wesley Briles and his friend, Alley Jagger; Jackson Abercrombie, JB Abercrombie, Ella Abercrombie, Max Abercrombie, Mallory Michael, and Dylan Michael. He is survived by three sisters, Rebecca Briles Tuttle-Miller, Ruth Briles Spaugh, and Martha Briles Hemrick-Pace; a companion, Cathy Michael, her son, Brandon (Angela) Michael; his former wife, Pan Briles, who remained a good friend; and Ron Liner, his life-long pal.

Born on September 24, 1936, to the late Homer Cicero Kinley and Minnie Lou Willard Kinley. In addition to his parents a sister, Louise Seagraves and a brother, Johnny Kinley preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Brenda Campbell Kinley (m. Jerry Dean Briles, age 77, passed away on October 28, 2025.
A visitation at the Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax, Iowa, will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 1-4 PM with family present. No funeral will be held per his request, but a private family burial will be held in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Born on October 23, 1948, to the late Herschel “Pete” and Wilma (Telfer) Briles.
He married Sharon Kay Bell on August 31, 1968. They have 2 sons, Brian Dean (the late Stacey) and Kurt Alan (Alicia), and four grandchildren, Joslin, Brooke, Brody, and Kinsley Briles.
Surviving include his loving wife of 57 years, Sharon, his two sons and daughter-in-law, his four grandchildren, his two brothers Jim (Judy) and Randy (Polly).

Born March 2, 1932, the son of Frank M. Farlow and Nora Stout Farlow.
Byron was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Davis Farlow (m. January 17, 1953), his parents, brothers Maurice and Bryce Farlow and sisters Hazel Braun and Geraldine Haithcock.
He is survived by his daughters Denise Jones and Debbie Surratt, son-in-law Scott Surratt, “daughter” Alicia Yee Perez, grandchildren Lindsey Sommers (Chris), Tyler Surratt, Tara Gainey (Addison), Ben Jones (Lisa), Blair Bresson (Joey), and four awesome great grandchildren, Charlotte and Eliza Gainey, Arlo Jones and Henry Byron Bresson.
He is also survived by his brother Michael Farlow, nieces and nephews.

Keith is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Linda Hedrick Miller; his beloved children, Lisa Miller Sexton and her husband Jeff Sexton, along with their daughter Emilie Sexton; Alanna Miller Thornbury and her husband Neil Thornbury, and their children Reece Thornbury and Walker Thornbury; and Jessica Miller Clem and her husband Eric Clem, and their children Blake Clem, and twins, Josie and Elle Clem. He also leaves behind cherished nieces, Melanie Splawn and her husband Scott of Gastonia, and Windy Gibson and her husband David of Cherryville.

Reva was born on April 13, 1930, in Davidson County, to the late David Harris Snider and Algene Velera Snider.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ray Von Young; son, Gene Ray Young; daughter, Vonetta Floyd; brother, David Allen Snider; and sister, Joyce Young.

Kathy was born on July 10, 1954, in High Point, NC, to the late Lossie Belle Brann Kinley and George Bulla Kinley. She was also preceded in death by her beloved maternal grandfather, Robert Nickey Brann; her brother, Nickey Cicero Kinley; husband, Darrell Patty. In 1972, she married Johnny Wayne Floyd, Sr.
Kathy is survived by her three children, Angela Marie Watts, Johnny Wayne Floyd Jr., and Paul Harrison Floyd. Grandchildren; Jacob, Jackson, Brittany, Colton, Ryan, Haleigh, and Haven, and was blessed with six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her devoted siblings: Martha Bernice Gray (Larry), Judy Gayle Canter (Melvin), George Terry Kinley (Bessie), Barbara Ann Atkins (Kenneth), Dee Lois Holt, Lisa Karen Roberts (Danny), Velvet Loretta Walker (Tommy), Glenn Adams Kinley (Carolyn), and Kimberly Dawn Bryan (Randy).

Floyd Nathan Briles, passed August 31, 2025, at the age of 77.

Floyd was born on December 8, 1947, in Houston, Texas, to Barbara Ann and Robert Nathan Briles. US Army, Vietnam Veteran.
On January 8, 1993, Floyd married Sarah Beth Webb, and together they made their home in Spring, Texas, sharing 20 years of marriage. He was also a devoted father to his two daughters from his former wife, Cathy Mae Griffin.
He is survived by his daughters, Heather Renea Rodriguez and Stefanie Nicole Briles; his son-in-law, Daniel Rodriguez, Jr.; his five grandchildren, Nathan, Olivia, Violet, Kaiden, and Levi; and his loyal dog, Clementine.
Floyd was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sarah Beth Briles; his parents, Barbara Ann and Robert Nathan Briles; his sister, Julie Ann Briles; and his brothers, Julian Floren, Robert Morgan “Robbie,” and David Wayne Briles.

Dennis "Denny" Briles, 72, of Lewis, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Open visitation, with no family present, will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28th and Friday, August 29th at Roland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 30th at the Lewis Community Center. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Lewis.
Dennis Ray was born on May 10, 1953, in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Raymond Lloyd and Nellie (Williams) Briles. On October 14, 1973, he married Deborah Krueger at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nellie Briles; father-in-law, Lyle Krueger; grandchildren in infancy, Rygel Marcus and Chiana Elizabeth; sister, Shirley Anderson; brother-in-law, Phil Anderson; sister-in-law, DeLila "De" Briles; and niece and nephew in infancy, Zoey and Zeek Peterson.

Connie was born August 5, 1965 in Guilford County to the late Dugan Parrish and Carol Haney Parrish. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Parrish.
Surviving is her daughter, Stacey Tanner and husband Shane; one son, Marcus Deweese; two granddaughters, Kailee Tanner and Addyson Tanner; her aunt, Dot Bradshaw. She also leaves behind her best friend, Linda Meinders.

Barry Spencer Zachary Dies
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, at Marlboro Friends Meeting in Sophia with Ray Luther officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service. Memorials may be directed to the Marlboro Friends Meeting at 2668 Marlboro Church Rd. Sophia, NC 27350.
On August 23, 1969 he married the former Janice Briles who survives of the residence. Also surviving is his mother, Geraldine "Gerry" Zachary of High Point; his two sons, Todd Zachary (Karen) of Davidson and Brandon Zachary (Mandy) of Trinity; two brothers, Gary Zachary (Jeritta) of High Point and Rick Zachary of Thomasville; a sister, Marla Mullis (Gary) of Matthews; six grandchildren, Kirstin, Brianna, Kyndall, Yancey, Spencer and Ella Grace; and three great grandchildren, Raelynn, Landon and Eli.

Julia (Judy) Snider Wiley, 94, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2025 at Pennybyrn.
A funeral service for Judy will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10 AM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, NC. Rev. Brian Matherlee and Rev. David Emery will officiate. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, May 9,2025.
Judy was born October 25, 1930, in High Point to the late Ernest Monroe Snider and Ressie Kinley Snider.
On December 22,1950 she married Thomas M. Wiley, Sr. They were married sixty-nine years until Tommy's death on March 28, 2020.
Surviving are her daughter Lynda Wiley Wright (Rocky), her loving sister Ernestine Hayworth, her granddaughter Laura Maness, her daughter-in-law Joann Wiley, her granddaughter-in-law Detra Morgan (Colt), great-grandchildren and three nieces. She also had a bonus daughter Phyllis Pierce who worked with Tom and Judy for many years. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son Thomas (Tim) M. Wiley, Jr., son-in-law Roger McHenry, and grandson R. Brian McHenry.

Neva Ann Briles, age 78, died on April 29, 2025 in the Lexington Memorial Hospital in Davidson County, N.C.
There will be no formal services.
Neva was born to Wade Cecil and Vermutus King Briles in Asheboro, N.C. Neva was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and younger sister Candace Dawn Briles.
She is survived by three sisters: Lucy (Joe) Lamb of Asheboro, Cecelia Eanes of Dobson, Ginger Briles of Kernersville, and brother Troy Briles, as well as several nieces and nephews, and dear friends Linda, Alex and Brenda.

The daughter of Allen Millikan Bowman and the late Lalah Marie Rush Bowman, Debbie was born December 31, 1952, at Randolph Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lalah Marie Rush Bowman. She is survived by her father, Allen Millikan Bowman; husband, Michael “Mike” Ray Thompson of Sophia; sister, Beverly Bowman Hunt and husband Tom of Trinity; brother, James Allen Bowman and wife Ginger of Sophia; daughter, Angela Thompson Rowland and husband Mike of Pinehurst; son, Michael Leroy Thompson II and wife Ashley of Lexington; grandchildren: Madeline Rowland Nelson and husband Joshua of Pinehurst; Michael Clark Rowland III and fiancĂ© Alexis Smith of Pinehurst; Michaela Marie Rowland of Pinehurst, Matthew Charles Rowland of Pinehurst, Megan Denise Rowland of Pinehurst, Miranda Ann Rowland of Pinehurst, Mitchell Cash Rowland of Pinehurst, Brooklyn Alexandria Thompson of Lexington, Michael LeRoy Thompson III of Lexington; great grandchild, Lalah Olivia Nelson of Pinehurst; and stepdaughter, Kristy Thompson Flowers; along with many other loving family members in Randolph County.

Thomas Nathaniel Adams, 85, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Mountain Vista Health Park.
A funeral service for Thomas will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Amy Higgins and Rev. Sandy Young officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:00 PM at Fairview United Methodist Church prior to the service.
Born in Davidson County on November 12, 1939, he was the son of Earlie Adams and Sallie Ann Kearns Adams. Veteran, United States Army. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Haydee Torres Adams, and a sister, Nancy A. Dunn.
He is survived by his sisters, Rebecca Rivero of Winston Salem, Diane Bell (Curtis) of Kernersville, and Rosa Melton (James) of Angier.

Mary Lou was born March 19, 1937 in Des Moines to DL and Thelma (Dawson) Brubaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, DL and Thelma Brubaker and her brother, Darrell Brubaker.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of almost 70 years, Marvin Briles; children, Stephen (Christina) Briles, John (Penni) Briles and Ellyn Briles; grandchildren, Benjamin (Taylor), Collin, Danielle and Darian; great-grandchildren, Emmett and Ellie; and her brother, Bill Brubaker.
