Lacy "Harold" Richardson, 68, Dies

Lacy (Harold) Richardson, 68, passed away on January 2, 2013, in Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Southgate Baptist Church with Rev Brian Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Born on September 11, 1944, in Guilford County, to Howard Richardson and Stella Rush Richardson. On December 29, 1962, he married Judy Parrish Richardson, who survives of the home. Also surviving are three daughters, Donna Richardson of Thomasville, Lisa Marinelli of Thomasville, and Wendy High and husband Sean of Denton; two sons, Brad Harold Richardson and Chad Howard Richardson, both of Thomasville; sisters, Pat Earnhart of Oak Island, Joyce Grant and husband Wilford of Greensboro, and Sandy Steed and husband Tim of Missouri; seven grandchildren, Heather Ratley, Valerie Fisher, Aundie Marinelli, Skylar Richardson, Haley High, Blake Baker, and Zane Richardson; and three great-grandchildren, Aliya Easter, Tanner Marinelli, and Madyson Marinelli. Eugene Reitzel “Shaker” Clark

Eugene Reitzel “Shaker” Clark, 82, of Asheboro, NC, 82, of Asheboro, passed Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. Family will receive friends from 12 noon-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Britt and the Rev. Mark Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Native of Guilford County, born Oct. 6, 1930. He was the son of the late Daniel Archie Clark and Ina Sirona Pierce Clark; preceded in death by sisters, DeEtte Clanton and Doris Jarrell. Survived by his wife, Janice Burrow Clark, of the home; sisters, Iris “Bo-D” Morgan and husband, Jennings, Kay C. Outen, all of Asheboro; brothers, Kenneth “Kessie” Clark and wife, Pat, Ronnie Clark, all of Asheboro; special relative, Belinda Alcon Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews. NOTE: This is a direct Briles line to Ansel & Mary Briles Pearce. We are currently working on this line which includes Robert Jasper Pierce who is Eli & Ann Nance Pierce's grandson. Arthur Parrish Dies

Arthur Parrish, age 85, of Asheboro passed Friday, August 24, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Family will receive friends Monday, August 27, 2012 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC, prior to funeral service at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro Born January 13, 1927 in Randolph County, NC, the son of Benjamin Carliss and Kate Kearns Parrish; preceded in death by his wife; Joyce Lambe Parrish. He is survived by one daughter: Debbie Parrish Frazier and husband, Gary of Franklinville, two sons: Roger Parrish and wife, Joyce of Asheboro and Ott Parrish and wife, Cindy of Archdale, 7 grandchildren: Vicki Donnelly, Melissa Frazier, Derek Frazier, Nicole Parrish Mercado and her husband, Christopher, Tara Leigh Parrish, Chrissy Grimsley and Josh Parrish; 7 great grandchildren: Makayla Donnelly, Wes Donnelly, Lilly Wood, Max Mercado, Jacen Mercado, Chole Grimsley, Dekota Grimsley and 4 half brothers and sisters: Hilda Robbins, Mack Parrish, L. Jewell Nance Ridgeway

ARCHDALE-Jewell Ridgeway, age 89, of Archdale passed away Saturday May 19, 2012. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at Floral Gardens Cemetery in High Point. Preceded in death by her husband Delmar Ridgeway; brothers, Glenn Nance and Reitzel Nance and sister, Veva Lewallen. Survivors include her son Ray Ridgeway (Billie) of Eden; brother, Max Nance of High Point; sister-in-laws, Peggy Nance of High Point and Joyce Nanceof High point and several nieces and nephews.
