Doris Loretta Hepler Duncan Passes

Doris Loretta Hepler Duncan, 90, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Gary Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.Born on March 1, 1922 in Davidson County to Albert Reid Hepler and Claudie Scarlett Hepler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Wayne Duncan; brothers, Fred, Hollis, and Eugene Hepler; and sisters, Linda McGee and Edna Sowers. On May 18, 1940, she married Clinton Harden Duncan, who survives of the home; also surviving is her daughter, Carolyn Washam Hedrick and husband Van of Thomasville; son, Thomas Clinton Duncan of Thomasville; brother, Lloyd Hepler and wife Norma of Thomasville; sisters, Inez Swing and Clara Phillips and husband James, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Steven C. Gallimore and wife Lorie, Edward C. Gallimore and wife Janet, Tracy Duncan and wife Tammy, and Sandra Young and husband John; 9 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
