Mallord Miller Turner, 73, of Asheboro, NC, passed Friday, December 14, 2012. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Mt. View Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Hauk officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Native of Randolph County, NC, born April 29, 1939, son of the late William Scott Turner and Pauline Hunt Turner; preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Joan Turner, and his sisters, Rosella King and Georgia Boles. Survived by his daughters, Brenda Horan and husband, Gary, Anita "Susie" Davidson and husband, Greg, Joan Palacios, all of Asheboro, NC; sons, Douglas Davis and wife, Wanda, of Lexington, NC, Donald Davis, of Winston-Salem, NC; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
