Gerald Richard Lambeth, son of Clifford R. & Sarah Lillian Black Lambeth, passed away August 31st. Death notice has not posted, but no direct line to Briles. Thomasville Funeral Home has the body.

Gabriel Heath Lambeth Dies

Gabriel Heath Lambeth, 39, of Lexington, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cid United Methodist Church by the Revs. Doug Rowe and Chip Webb. Burial will follow in Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Davidson County on Aug. 23, 1973, to Ronnie W. Lambeth and Patricia Swing Lambeth. Surviving are his parents of Lexington; brothers David Lambeth of Candler and Joshua Lambeth and wife Ashley and their sons, Boston and Bane, all of Mocksville; and several uncles, aunts and cousins. No direct line to Briles

Rhonda Gayle Austin Lambeth

Rhonda Gayle Austin Lambeth, 71, passed Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 PM at J.C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville by the Rev. Mike Orman and the Rev. Wayne Tucker. Burial will be in Fairgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Randolph County, December 16, 1940 a daughter of Henry Jackson (Jack) Austin and Doris Juanita Hunt Austin.Surviving are her husband, Dale Lambeth of the home; a daughter, Dorlie Gallimore of Thomasville; her mother, Doris Juanita Austin of High Point; two sisters, Jackie Pryce of Jacksonville, FL and Sherri Webster of Thomasville. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor Suits, Max Allen Suits, and Mackenzie Nicole Gallimore. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Austin. THE BIN is working on the lineage of Doris Juanita Hunt. Possible line to Crawford & Mary Briles Rush. We are trying to verify her parents, possible William Franklin & Myrtle Rush Hunt.

Barbara Ann Nichols Lambeth

Barbara Ann Nichols Lambeth, 81,passed Tuesday evening, May 29, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11 A.M. in Hillside Park Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Chipps and Rev. Terry Boles officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Born January 11, 1931 in Guilford County, a daughter of the late Shuler Nichols and Lilly May Smith Nichols. Preceded in death by her husband Dalton “Bud” Clayton Lambeth, on December 23, 2001. Surviving are sons, Terry Lambeth and wife Sharon of Kure Beach, N.C. and Kenneth Lambeth and wife Janet of Thomasville; grandchildren, J. Chad Lambeth and wife Penny and Lindsey Drennan and husband Chris, both of Thomasville; a great-grandson, Nicholas Drennan; sisters, Ruth Osborne of Thomasville and Nancy Parker of High Point. Anne Hill Fries

HIGH POINT-Anne Hill Fries, age 90, passed Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her residence in the arms of her daughter, Debbie. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 28th at 2:00 p.m. in Sechrest Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Micah Ray officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Fries will be taken to Harrisonburg, Virginia on Monday for a visitation from 2:00 until 3:00pm in the Kyger-Trobaugh Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Harrisonburg. Born September 27, 1921 in Thomasville to the late Cicero and Mary Lambeth Hill. Preceded in death by her husband Ward M. Fries on November 13, 1998. (m. May 23, 1944); four sisters, five brothers, and her husband on November 13, 1998. Surviving are her daughter; Deborah McDonald and husband Bob of Warrenton, Virginia. She is survived by many loving family members on both the Hill and Fries sides of the family, including her sisters-in-law: Doris Shifflett and Vera Acker. She is also survived by a special “grandson”, Hunter Scott, and wife Laura of Holmen, Wisconsin.
