Dempsey Lee Delk Dies

Dempsey Lee Delk, age 73, of Asheboro passed Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his home. Graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Denton with Rev. Benny Clodfelter and Rev. Bill Foust officiating. Born in Randolph County on August 13, 1938 to the late Astor and Lyde Delk. Preceded in death by his wife Anna Poole Delk and his brother Alton Delk. Survived by his sons, William Delk and his wife Cynthia of Asheboro, NC, Frank Delk and his wife Tammy of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, Chip Delk of Raleigh, NC, Jason Delk of Asheboro, NC, Noah Delk of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter, Jessica Delk of Cary, NC; brothers, Richard Delk of Denton, NC; Henry Leaton Delk of Denton, NC; and special friend and caregiver, Frances Cross of Asheboro, NC. Inez Parrish Bean Passes

Inez Parrish Bean, 90, passed Monday, June 4, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Stoneman and Rev. Darrell Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Trinity, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday. Born to the late Oscar E. and Ida Lee Myers Parrish on January 10, 1922. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, a brother, Roy E. Parrish; sisters, Eva P. Freeman and Eutha P. Small; and a sister-in-law, Ehtel S. Parrish. On June 21, 1943 she was married to Paul Franklin Bean who predeceased her on February 17, 1963. Surviving is her daughter, Marsha Bean Hayduk of High Point; a sister, Ruby Parrish Loflin of High Point; a brother, Albert Parrish and his wife Alice of Trinity, NC and several nieces and nephews.
