Dempsey Lee Delk Dies

Dempsey Lee Delk, age 73, of Asheboro passed Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his home. Graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Denton with Rev. Benny Clodfelter and Rev. Bill Foust officiating. Born in Randolph County on August 13, 1938 to the late Astor and Lyde Delk. Preceded in death by his wife Anna Poole Delk and his brother Alton Delk. Survived by his sons, William Delk and his wife Cynthia of Asheboro, NC, Frank Delk and his wife Tammy of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, Chip Delk of Raleigh, NC, Jason Delk of Asheboro, NC, Noah Delk of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter, Jessica Delk of Cary, NC; brothers, Richard Delk of Denton, NC; Henry Leaton Delk of Denton, NC; and special friend and caregiver, Frances Cross of Asheboro, NC. No Briles lineage
