Ruby Swaim Routh Dies

Ruby Swaim Routh, age 77, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church in Randleman with Rev. Carol Hunter, Rev. Wayne Pugh and Rev. Terry Routh officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Born July 1, 1935 the daughter of Samuel and Savannah Stilley Swaim. In addition to her parents Ruby is preceded in death by her brothers: George, Bill, Julius "Pee Wee" Swaim and her sister Barbara Saladrigas. Survived by her husband: R.P. Routh of the home; daughter, Julie Brewer Van Hoy and her friend John Lankford of Liberty; grandchildren: Luke Michael Van Hoy and Samuel Pierce Van Hoy both of Union Grove, NC; sisters: Helen Lawhorn and Gladys McMasters both of Liberty and Linda Allred of Asheboro; brother: Sam Swaim of Asheboro.
