James Ray Faircloth
THOMASVILLE-James Ray Faircloth, 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Rev. David Noyes officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville and other times at the home. Born on November 17, 1924, in Stanley County, the son of James Abraham Faircloth and Edith McDaniel Faircloth; preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Frances Pierce. On September 4, 1943, he married Laurestine Byerly Faircloth and they were married for 60 years. She also preceded him in death on October 25, 2003. Surviving Mr. Faircloth are his two sons, Dale Ray Faircloth and wife Barbara Suggs Faircloth, and Mike S. Faircloth and wife Wanda Beck Faircloth, all of Thomasville; one sister, Carolyn Wilson and husband Hoyt of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Aharon Michael Faircloth of Thomasville, Tyson Shane Faircloth and wife Jenny Flynn Faircloth of Greensboro, and Monica Sloan Moser and husband Rick of Hickory, NC; and five great-grandchildren, Aharon Michael Faircloth, II, Skyler Brook Faircloth, Rylan James Faircloth, Madison Grace Moser, and Rylee B. Moser.
His wife has direct lineage to Briles. Margaret Briles Kindley
