Hallie Lucille Lanier Skeen Passes

Hallie Lucille Lanier Skeen, age 82, of Randleman passed Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Visitation will be at Pugh Funeral Home, in Randleman Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 6;00 - 8:00 pm. A celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 am at Level Cross United Methodist Church in Randleman with Rev. Ernest Mangum, Rev. Jason Prevatte and Rev. Carroll Lupton officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Native of Randolph County born on October 16, 1930; preceded in death by her husband, Noah R. Skeen. Survived by her son; Everette Skeen and his wife Vickie of Randleman, daughter: Joyce Mangum and her husband Ernest of Randleman, daughter Sandra Davis and her husband Tommy of Archdale, son: Wayne Skeen and his wife Carol of Gibsonville, son Kenneth Skeen and his wife Madorie of Archdale, and son Dean Skeen and his wife Donna of Pleasant Garden; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters: Helen Taylor of Greensboro, Sue Connor of Randleman, Marge Brietbach of Battle Creek, MI; brother: Allen Lanier and his wife Janice of Asheboro. Larry Hubert Crotts

Larry Hubert Crotts, 67, of Lexington, passed Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Health Palliative Care in Winston-Salem. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church; officiated by Dr. Ray Howell, 3rd and the Rev. Tommy Wilson. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the residence. Born in Davidson County on Oct. 16, 1944, to Hubert Charles Crotts and Margaret Catherine Nifong Crotts. Preceded in death by his father; and an infant sister, Kathy Lenora Lanier. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Shirley Erschen Crotts, of the home; his mother, Margaret Lanier of Advance; and stepfather Joe D. Lanier; brothers Rickey Eugene Crotts and wife Okhui Park of Lexington and Joe D. Lanier Jr., and wife Mary of Mocksville; sisters Linda Cornatzer of Advance and Cindy Cornatzer and husband Dale of Mocksville; nieces Brandi (Victor) and Christy; and nephews Charles (Alexis), Chris (Sarah) , Chad, Derek and Gene; four great-nephews; and his beloved dog, Max.
