Blanche Scotten Hiott Passes

Blanche Scotten Hiott, 93, of Thomasville passed away June 13, 2012 at the Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County. A service to celebrate her life, led by Dr. Ivan H.M. Peden and Rev. Peggy Finch will be held at JC Green Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Thomasville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Born on November 2, 1918 to James O. Scotten and Mattie Miller Scotten. Preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Rudolf Hiott. She is survived by her family: Galen and Kathryn Hiott of Lexington, Gary and Carin Hiott of Trinity, and Rosemary and Ed Johnson of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Jennifer Johnson, and Carl and Ashleigh Hiott; sister-in-law Malynda Knight; nieces and nephews: Juli Moon, Dawn Lewis, Dana Davis, Gene Scotten, and Dedee Duvall. Briles Line: Grandmother is Aurelia Roella Briles Miller; line to Conrad & Margaret Rush Briles.
