Coy Lee Hunt, age 84, Asheboro passed Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove with Rev. Wayne Bryson, Rev. Clay Davis and Rev. Josh Hughes officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Randolph County on June 13, 1928 to Everett and Claudia Hunt, who preceded him in death. Survived by his wife, Mildred Ashworth Hunt of the home; son, Joe Hunt and his wife Ronda of Seagrove, NC; granddaughter, Jamie Kirby and her husband Kenny of Concord, VA; great granddaughters, Lauren Kirby and Madeline Kirby; sisters, Emma Thomas of Asheboro, NC, Mary Ann Green of Seagrove, NC; brothers, W.E. Hunt, Jerry Hunt, and Harlan Hunt all of Asheboro, NC.
