Jimmy Lee Floyd, 59, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, October 28, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jeff Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church and other times at the home of his parents. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Floyd was born October 19, 1954.Survived by his daughter, Leesa Perdue and husband Joe, of Trinity, NC; sons, Donnie Floyd, Danny Floyd, both of Randleman, NC; parents, Thurman and Reba Hoover Floyd; sisters, Judy Albright and husband, Carroll, of Asheboro, NC, Sandra Willoughby and husband, Jim, of Denton, NC; brother, Gerry Floyd and wife, Rebecca, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Kara, Allie, Braxton, Thurman; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Keith Randall Floyd 46, of Salisbury passed away suddenly at his home Tuesday March 12, 2013. A funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 16, 2013 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home. Born February 1, 1967 in Davidson County to David Dermont Floyd and Lorriane Hedrick Sink. He was preceded in death by a brother Mike Floyd. Surviving are his parents, a brother Chris Floyd and wife Michelle of Lexington, one niece Arianna Floyd, one nephew Cullen Green, and a step mother Bonnie Floyd.

WHITEVILLE- Violet Lorraine Floyd Sexton, 83 passed July 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Harold Shives. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. Born April 21, 1929 in High Point, the daughter of Marvin Reid and Florence Carroll Floyd who both preceded her in death along with two sisters, Ada Frazier and Lois Marie Yates and a granddaughter, Lauren Brooke Andrews. Married to Ed (Penn) Lindy Sexton, Jr. who preceded her in death on September 9, 2002. Surviving are six children, Linda Gail Massingill and husband David of Harrison, TN; Jerry Sexton and wife Susan of Myrtle Beach, SC; Aubrey Lee Sexton and wife Carolyn of Whiteville; Teresa Andrews of Trinity; Tammy Smith and husband Kenneth of Trinity; and Christopher Sexton of Whiteville; seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Louise Berrier Floyd, 89, passed away Wednesday morning, July 25, 2012, at Lexington Health Care. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bruce Morasco. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. Born in Davidson County on June 25, 1923, to Cicero Adam Berrier and Della Evans Berrier. Preceded in death by her parents; brother's Claude, Bruce, Hubert and Paul Berrier. Survived by her husband of 67 years, Paul E.
