A Memorial Gathering will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 4:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home.

Preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Dorothy Briles and Dorothy White; great-grandfather, Walter Briles; and uncle, Carrington Griffin.

 
Surviving: her parents, Haylee Briles and Trevor Blayton, her sisters, Campbell Daniel, Aurora Green, and Sofie Green. Her grandparents, Amy Briles and Jamie Benock, Tammy Blayton-Jackson and Bubba Blayton, She is also survived by her great-grandparents, Kathy Crady, Charles "Dale" & Patty Mann, Marilyn & Henry Benock, and Maurice & Sandra Blayton.

Dorothy Marie (Stone) Briles

Dorothy Marie (Stone) Briles , died unexpectedly in Jeffersonville, Indiana on January 9, 2021 at 21:55 at the age of 78. 

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.

Dorothy was born on June 21, 1942.Dorothy was survived and loved by her brother, Leroy Stone, daughters, Tonia Spanyer (Joseph), Trina Hutchinson (Shawn), Amy Briles/Benock (Jamie); 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, three siblings, and one grandchild.

Lena Cordelia Thyfault Briles of Pritchett Colorado died in her home November 26, 2013. Born to Arthur and Jessie Thyfault on October 31, 1934 in Pritchett, Colorado. Lena leaves behind her loving husband, Elmer A. Briles, her son Arthur E. Briles and daughter-in-law Lonnie F. Briles, her grandson Geoffrey A. Briles, her sister Loretta Bradburn and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Abstract from Maltbie Funeral Home in Colorado.
