Phyllis Miller Gillispie Lewellyn, age 73, of Asheboro passed Saturday , November 17, 2012 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Funeral will be Tuesday, November 20th at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel IN Asheboro with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Huldah Baptist Church Cemetery, Asheboro. A native of Randolph County on July 5, 1939 to the late Howard and Hazel Davis Miller; predeceased by her husbands, Johnny Gillispie and R.J. Lewellyn, sisters Doris Dowd and Carlene Lamb, and brothers Max and Lloyd Miller. Survived by her daughter: Laura Gillispie of Asheboro, NC, sister: Zelma Reeder of Randleman, NC, brother and his wife, Steve and Becky Miller of Asheboro, NC; sister and her husband, Dianne and Steve Hayes of Winston- Salem, NC and nieces and nephews.
