Lottie Kaye Ward Everhart Dies
Lottie Kaye Ward Everhart, 70, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Hinkle Hospice House after a brief illness. A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pilgrim Reformed Church; Rev. James Kent officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. Born in Davidson County on May 15, 1942, to John Daniel Ward and Lottie Eva Ann Fritts Ward; preceded in death by her parents; sister Jackie W. Farabee; brothers Ed Ward, Dan Gray Ward, Archie Ward and Buford Ward. Surviving are her daughters, Amy Tharp and Tina Poindexter and husband Gene, all of Lexington; grandchildren Cayce Poindexter and Dustin Tharp; sisters Edith Truitt, Ruth Jolly and Doris Hedrick and husband Willis, all of Lexington, and Mary Workman and husband David of Thomasville; brother John Ray Ward and wife Dorcas of Lexington and former husband Scott Everhart; and brother- and sisters-in-law Robert Farabee, Margaret Ward, Sarah Ward, Margaret "Vononia" Ward and Ruth Ward.
