"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." This is true when our beloved Elizabeth Bushnell "Betty" Cameron Morrison became a treasure on November 6, 2012. Betty took the steps to glory in Oakley, Fife, Scotland and leaves many family and friends to honor her memory. Memorial services will be held in Oakley on November 15, 2012 and it is the wishes of Betty to be cremated. Born January 17, 1926 in Scotland, the oldest of eight to the late Charles Millan & Beatrice Hampton Cameron. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Morrison, sons Iaian & Tommy Morrison, brothers Charles & Tommy Cameron. Left on this earth to carry on with grace are her children, Dawn Cowan Morrison Culver and her husband Ralph; Edward Morrison, Chrissy Morrison, David Morrison, Robbie Morrison, Catherine Morrison, Helen and Joyce Morrison; Sisters, Margaret Cameron Tavendale, Sheila Cameron Spellman (Johnny Spellman), Catherine Cameron Briles (James Rex Briles); Brothers James Hampton "Mickey" Cameron and Garry Cameron (Mary McLean). "We find delight in the beauty and happiness of children that makes the heart too big for the body." Betty is my aunt and sister to my mother Catherine Cameron Briles. We are deeply saddened at the passing of Betty and ask for prayers for our family. May God place his hands on our grieving family and give us strength to carry on with precious memories of Betty.
