Oscar Henry Hoover Dies

Oscar Henry Hoover, age 85, of Asheboro passed Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at his home. Wake: Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church; Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Native of Randolph County, son of the late Lewis Edgar & Annie Rogers Hoover. Preceded in death by his wife, Della Mae Hoover and brothers, Page Hoover, Warren Hoover and his twin brother, Sam Hoover. Survived by daughters, Carolyn Latham and her husband Howard of Denton, Linda Swaney and her husband Wayne of Trinity; grandchildren, Tim Latham and his wife Jamie of Denton, Shannon Crotts and his wife Jenny of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Josh Latham of Asheboro, Chris Latham of Denton, Jake Crotts of Asheboro; sister, Lucinda Ball of Asheboro.
