Lyde Bernice Nance Delk, age 90, passed Saturday, June 26, 2010 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Wake: Monday, June 28, 2010 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 4:00 pm at Piney Grove United Methodist Church; Rev. Benny Clodfelter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born July 28, 1919 in Denton, NC the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Hall Nance. Preceded in death by her husband, Astor Delk; son, Alton Delk; and grandson, Derrick Delk. Survived by sons: Richard Delk and wife Donna of Denton, NC, Dempsey Delk of Asheboro, NC, Henry Delk and Wife Barbara of Denton, NC; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
