Carroll "Bim" Hunt Dies

Carroll Delmonte "Bim" Hunt, 87, passed Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Mt. View Independent Methodist Church, Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Native of Randolph County, born August 31, 1922, the son of the late Samuel and Zula Pierce Hunt. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Frances W. Hunt, of the home, daughters, Brenda H. Thomas and husband, Paul, of Biscoe, Ruth H. Brady and husband, Roger, of Sophia, Gail H. Bailey and husband, Darrell, of Asheboro, Lucy H. Lucas and husband, Bobby, of Asheboro; sons, Samnmy Hunt and wife, Janet, Clifford Hunt and wife, Virginia, Rev. David Hunt and wife, Kathy, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Angela Brock, Jerry Bim Harris, Tonya Shepherd, Christina Holt, Olivia Blanton, Kim Cox, Jeff Hunt, Brian Hunt, Katherine Lucas, Timothy Lucas; twelve great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
