HIGH POINT-B. Reitzel Nance, 85, passed June 15th, 2010 at Hospice Home in High Point. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010 in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point; Rev. Carroll Upton, Rev. David Keith and Dan Price officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Born October 12th, 1924 in Guilford County, a son of the late Glenn and Hattie Jackson Nance. Preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Nance Surviving are his wife, the former Peggy Jackson (married June 11th, 1972); two daughters, Becky Reid and Susan Davis both of Kernersville; two sisters, Jewel Ridgeway of High Point and Veva Lewallen of High Point; a brother, Max Nance Sr. and wife Lorene of High Point; a granddaughter, Christi Reid of Clemmons; a great-granddaughter, Shelby Reid of Clemmons and a sister-in-law, Joyce Nance of Thomasville.
