A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Parr officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home.
Ernest was born November 27, 1942 in Randolph County to the late Lonnie Kinley and Lucille Hogan Kinley. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Johnson; one brother, Gary Thomas Kinley; and one grandson, Austin Grant.
Surviving is his loving wife, Sylvia Marie Persiani Kinley of the home; two daughters, Sharon Kinley Alford and husband Gary, Teresa Grant and husband Danny; one son, Danny Kinley and wife Kim; two sisters, Linda “Susie” Beck and husband Charles, Patsy Cagle and husband Gerald; eight grandchildren, Hailey Grant (Cole), Haley Hinkle and fiancé Jacob, Jalen Woodrow, Levi Kinley (Payton), Collin Grant, Samantha Alford, BJ Alford, Austin Workman; one great-grandson, Brandon Alford; he also leaves behind his fur baby, “Sweet Pea”.
