Gladys Mae Hulin Brown Dies

Gladys Mae Hulin Brown 86 passed away on Thursday May 29, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel with Rev. Elton Welborn officiating. Entombment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Born on January 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Henry Hulin and Adie Gordon Hulin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Daniel Charles Brown, as well as two daughters; Carroll Gray and Edith Ann Brown. Surviving is her daughter; Janice Cranford of Thomasville, a son; Jerry D. Brown and wife Linda of Holden Beach, NC; a sister; Donna Mabe and husband Steve of Thomasville; also surviving are grandchildren; Tabitha Mickey, Kendra Koontz, Barry Cranford, Daniel Cranford, Tara Cranford, Jeffrey Brown, Timothy Brown, Jeremy Brown, and Kimberly Brown. Gladys was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren.
