The 1940 Census is Available, Slow!

The 1940 census is available for viewing however it's a little slow. The 1940 census records were released by the US National Archives today, and brought online through a partnership with Archives.com. This website allows you full access to the 1940 census images, in addition to 1940 census maps and descriptions. Go here to view the census, but the servers are slammed with visitors. Viewing by name will take 6 months to a year, but you can search by city, state, or enumeration district number.
