C. Sidney Hill Passes

C. Sidney Hill, 69, of Archdale, passed Friday, March 02, 2012, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, March 4th, at Archdale Friends Meeting with Pastor Dave Mercadante, officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Sunday prior to the service. Born in High Point on November 20, 1942, the son of Mrs. Clover Mink Hill and the late Mr. Clarence Hill. Survived by his mother, Clover Hill; children, Lynn Hill Walser of Archdale, Ken Hill of Randleman; sister, Connie Hill of Archdale; brother, Tony Hill and his wife, Sara of Greensboro; nephew, Tim Hill and his wife, Teresa of Columbia, SC; nieces, Holly Hill Proud and her husband, Greg of Annapolis, MD and Susan Hill of Charlotte; and great nephews, Gregory, Charlie and Bradley Christopher Proud, who was born March 3, 2012.
