William (Bill) Ray Farlow Passes

William (Bill) Ray Farlow, 80, passed Monday, March 21, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Archdale Friends Meeting, officiated by Reverend Ben Hurley and Reverend David Mercadante. Burial will follow at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery. The family will greet friends in the Family Life Center at Marlboro Friends Meeting following the burial. Born on November 26, 1930 in Archdale, the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Jones Farlow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Farlow. On February 16, 1952 he married the former Barbara Russell who survives of the residence. Surviving are his children, Gary Farlow and wife Denise, Diane Farlow Johnson and husband Rick, and Steve Farlow; his grandchildren, Nick, Adam, Sarah Farlow, Jessi Johnson Green, Matt Johnson, Katie, and Neal Farlow; great-grandson, Skyler Farlow; two step-grandsons, and four step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Edna Farlow Jarrett, and husband, Richard and mother-in-law, Margaret Russell.
