Loretta Mae Briles Hannigan

Loretta Mae Briles Hannigan, 89, of Shrewsbury, departed this life Wednesday, May 12, 2021, following a long illness.

Per her request, a small private memorial service will be held for immediate family. Burial will be Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens.

Born June 29, 1931 in Lincoln County to Noah and Mary Pinson Briles, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Myron Hannigan; and her brothers, Dennis, Beryl, and Don Briles.

Surviving are her children, Mickey Hannigan, Tom (Brenda) Hannigan, her twins, Cecilia (Jerry) Backus and Bruce (Robin) Hannigan; seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Dawnevyn "Don" Paul Briles

Dawnevyn "Don" Paul Briles, 84, of Shrewsbury, departed this life Tuesday, January 8, 2019, following a long illness. Per his request, cremation has been honored and a small gathering with immediate family will be held at a later date. Born August 1, 1934, in Lincoln County. In addition to his wife, Lois, he was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Mary Briles; daughter, Stephanie Briles; brothers, Dennis and Beryl Briles; and son-in-law, Mark Shannon. Left to mourn his passing are his daughter, Melody Shannon of Charleston; son, Brian Briles of Shrewsbury and fiance, Amanda Merrill; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Sanchez of Oak Hill, Cory Sanchez of Morgantown, Cameron Bays of Tornado; step-granddaughter, Courtney Shannon of Philadelphia; sister, Loretta Hannigan of Shrewsbury; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Lois June Spangler Briles

Lois June Briles, 79, of Belle went home to be with the Lord, January 25, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with Pastor Marvin Horan officiating. Interment will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home on Monday. Preceding her in death were her parents, Herbert Omen and Lula Mae Meadows Spangler; and an infant daughter, Stephanie Fawn Briles.  Surviving are her loving husband, Dawnevyn Briles; son, Brian of Shrewsbury; daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Mark Shannon of Sissonville; and grandchildren, Matthew Sanchez and his wife, Jessica, of Oak Hill, Cory Sanchez of Morgantown, Courtney Shannon of Philadelphia, PA, and Cameron Bays of Shrewsbury.
