He married Mary Emerson in 1967 who survives; daughters Kathlene (Geoff) Livengood, Suzanne Bigelow, two grandchildren, Casey Lee and Mackenzie Livengood, brothers James and Gerald Briles of Salem and sister Hazel Johnson of Raymond, WA.
