Mrs. Ercel B. Shue, age 93, of Greensboro, passed away on April 12, 2026, at Camden Health and Rehabilitation.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Guilford Chapel of Forbis and Dick Funeral Service. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens.
Born on October 3, 1932, in Randolph County to Early Lee Briles and Lyda Moore Briles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Shue; her son, Ron Shue; her daughter, Jeanette Pletcher; and her granddaughter, Ashley Shue.
She is survived by her son, Ernie Shue of Summerfield, daughter-in-law Karen Shue of Charlotte and son-in-law Craig Pletcher of Ringgold GA; four grandchildren, Nolan Shue, Taylor Shue, Angie Johns, and Dawn Pletcher; and ten great-grandchildren, Whitney and Wesley Johns, Melayna, Maddox, and McCall Maynor, Skyler Lynn Shue, Cali Cole Shue and Barrett William Shue, Jinnah and Lexi Shue.
