Update: James Melvin Briles married Martha Stackhouse and they had two children. Then divorced and Jeff was born to Martha after James Melvin remarried and moved to California. We have no info on who is Jeff’s father. He is not mentioned in James Melvin Briles death notice and James Melvin Briles isn’t mentioned in Jeff’s. The BIN is confident Jeff is not James Melvin Briles son. We will leave this notice up as a reference but adjust the main page and database.
