John Henry Nance, Jr.

John Henry Nance, Jr. passed away August 2, 2020 at Piedmont Crossing. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday August 4, 2020 at 2PM at JC Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Reverend Pete Bumgarner officiating. Burial will follow the service at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends from 1 to 2PM prior to the service.

Born January 2, 1932 in Randolph County to John and Mary Wall Nance. 

On June 27, 1959 he married Mary Ann Childers, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him are grandson Bryce Nance, brothers Raymond, Raeford, Charlie and Hall Nance.

Surviving is his daughter Kathy Nance Bodenheimer (Tony) of Thomasville, son Ken Nance of High Point. Grandchildren Bryan Bodenheimer (Ashley) of Thomasville, Jordan Smith (Brian) of High Point. Three great grandchildren, Landon Smith, Tyler Bodenheimer and Samantha Bodenheimer. Special nephew Tom Nance. Many nieces and nephews.
