Donald Clyde Briles Dies

Donald Clyde Briles, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2020 at the age of 66. Services will be held on April 16, 2020 at Rosewood Funeral Home and Cemetery in Humble, Texas. A viewing will be held from 12:00pm – 2:00pm and a graveside funeral at 2:00pm. Pastors Brandon Bales and Jamie Moore of Northeast Houston Baptist Church will be officiating.

Mr. Briles was born in Houston, Texas on June 27, 1953, preceded in death by parents E. L “Shorty” and Millicent V. Briles; brother Patrick W. Briles; and niece Vallie Briles. He then served in the US Army from 1972 to 1974. 

Donald was married to Susan on February 15, 1973; they were married 47 years. Survivin: his wife Susan; son Anthony “Scooter” and wife Wendy; grandchildren Alexis, Noah, and Hannah; sister Elma Carter and husband Gene; brother Danny Briles; nieces Gay Veale and husband Denny, Sandy Mace and husband Bryan, Mandy Smith and husband Jason; nephews Anson Carter and wife Cheri, Brian Carter and wife Kristi, Joe “Joey” Allison and wife Jennifer; and great-nephews and nieces.
