Asheboro- Richard Dean Morgan, 56, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Born January 5, 1964, he was the son of Ms. Mildred Briles Nance.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Briles Nance; sister, Sonya M. Murphy (Wallace); aunts and uncle, Elsie Reeder (Phillip), Jo Briles, and Marshall Wayne Briles; cousins, John Manley Briles III (Allison), Justin Aaron Briles (Tyra), and Terri Lynn Reeder; and nephew, Jerrel Alexander Holloway (Caitlin). He was preceded in death by his step father, Titus A Nance Jr; brothers, John Alexander Nance and Christopher Dale Morgan; grandparents, John Manley Briles Sr and Pearl Beatrice Briles; aunt and uncle, Moleta Jean Burgess and John Manley Briles Jr.
