Erman Eugene Black, 76, a resident of Tabernacle Church Rd., died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Hospice Home at High Point. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Myra Ward-Brown and Rev. Craig O’Hara officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Born on April 27, 1937 in Randolph County to James Lee Black and
Nannie Alma Briles Black . In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fallie Lou Hooks Black on May 23, 1983, whom he married January 29, 1955; sister, Kathleen Mabe; brother, James Black; and two grandsons, Donnie Nance and Steve Deatherage. Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Coleman and husband Robert of the home, and Teresa Nance and husband Billy of Lexington; one grandson, Ricky Nance of Polkton, NC; and one great-granddaughter, Skylar Nance.
