Jack Dempsey Hunt Sr.

Jack Dempsey Hunt Sr. passed Sunday afternoon at 5:25p.m. in the Hospice Home of High Point. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 3:00p.m. from the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service on Eastchester Dr. by the Rev. Steve Smith and Rev. Don Duncan. Interment will follow in the Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 1:30p.m. until the hour of the service. Born July 23, 1935 in Randolph County a son of Jessie Williams Hunt. On October 25, l955 he was married to Nancy Armentrout who survives of the home. Also surviving are 2 daughters; Mrs. Randy (Patti) Russell and Mrs. Salvatore (Karen) Matthews both of High Point; 1 Son Jack D. Hunt Jr. of Thomasville; 2 Brothers; Gene Hunt and wife Leslie of Kernersville and Buster Hunt of High Point; 6 Grandchildren; Courtnee Swaim and husband Silas, Nicholas Hargrove and wife Kaila, Maigan Sanders and husband Charles; Jack Hunt III , Corey Hunt and Evan Hunt; 3 Great Grandchildren; Julian Hunt, Jacob Sanders and Nicholas Grant Hargrove.
