Ada Hill Lanier

Ada Evelyn Lanier, 92, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, February 4, 2013. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Thames and Rev. Pat Thames officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Native of Randolph County, NC, born August 14, 1920 daughter of the late Archie Debro Hill and Lillie Mae Robbins Hill. She was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Lanier. Survived by son, Archie Lanier and wife, Rebecca, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Gina Lanier, of Creedmoor, Heather Lanier Cleckler and husband, Charles, of Asheboro; step grandchildren, Noelle Cleckler, Nicholas Cleckler; foster daughter, Benita Hurley and husband, A.C.; foster grandchildren, April Coleman, Kimberly Russell, Brandon Hurley and Mary Amber Hurley.
