Jerry Wayne Hunt Dies in Asheboro

Jerry Wayne Hunt, age 57, passed Friday, July 23, 2010, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jody Harrison officiating. Born on July 16, 1953, in Randolph County, Mr. Hunt was the son of the late Winfred and Marie Kindley Hunt. Surviving are his wife, Jan Hunt of the home; daughters, Becky Wright and husband, Steve, Carrie Ann Dorrity and husband, Brent, all of Asheboro, Dana Jordan and husband, Jasper, of Eagle Springs; son, Darren Hunt of Asheboro; brother, O'Neal Hunt of Asheboro; grandchildren, Montana Sky Wright, Cody Wright, Kaz Wright, Kassie Dorrity, Tarra Dorrity, Tyler Jordan, Trenton Jordan, and Jordan Hunt.
