Although not the normal procedure for posting death notices, The BIN would like to reflect on the passing of music icon, Eric Woolfson who died December 2, 2009 in Berlin, Germany. Woolfson died of cancer at the age of 64. Eric Woolfson was the co-founder of the Alan Parsons Project, known for the hits "Sirius", "Eye in the Sky", "Don't Answer Me", and many other hits.
Eric Woolfson and the Alan Parsons Project was the first group I played in the early 1980's at WRNC Radio in Reidsville. I have every song the "Project" has ever produced and along with ELO, are my favorite band!
Eric's music will live forever in our world and God has a true talent singing in heaven tonight. Eric Woolfson is survived by his wife and their two daughters.
