ASHEBORO-Golda H. Stephens, passed Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Wake: Ridge Funeral Home from 2 until 3 pm on Sunday, September 28, 2008. Funeral services 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2008, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Robert Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Native of Randolph County, preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Stephens. Survivors include her sisters, Joyce McGee and Hilda Briles, and brothers, Roy Hill, Bobby Hill, and Thomas Hill, all of Asheboro.-Ridge
