75th Anniversary of Rex Briles' Passing

The Briles Information Network is dedicated to the memory of Rex Briles, my grandfather. Since 1996, we have promoted genealogy research and preserving family history. We continue with visiting the grave site of Rex Briles who passed 75 years ago this date. Rex is buried with his parents, Ernest Michael and Cora Cain Briles and his brother Clarence Ralph Briles at Guilford Memorial Park in Jamestown, NC. Rex passed away July 22, 1942 of an acute appendicitis. We celebrated his short life by placing a flowers at the main headstone along with memory lights. God bless Rex Briles who is "At Rest" and will never be forgotten!

Late Notice: Gary Joseph Briles

Gary Joseph Briles passed away July 29, 2014 in Arizona. Born in Los Angeles , California March 17, 1949 to the late Ernest Michael Briles Jr and Mary Kester Briles who survives. Mr. Briles is also survived by siblings Debra and Ronnie Briles and his wife Barbara. Mr. Briles was cremated. Adair Funeral Home in Tuscon, AZ handled the arrangements.

William Jordan Dies; Was Married to Jewel Briles

William Jordan, Jr., age 87, of Asheboro passed Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Randolph Hospice House. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Native of Randolph County; preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jewell Francis Briles Jordan. Survived by his daughter, Patricia "Diane" Trull of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Janica Cox and her husband Danny of Franklinville, NC, Stephanie Nobles and her husband Von of Randleman, NC; great grandchildren, Jacqueline Cox, Nicole Cox, Brianna Nobles, and Frankie Nobles; and sister, Margaret Millikan of Asheboro, NC.
